Sourdough Naan Bread
IngredientsÂ
300g Bread Flour / All-Purpose Flour
180g Levain or Discard
130g Water
15g Oil
25g Sugar
6g Salt
Directions
Mix flour, levain, water together and let sit for 30 minutes (this shortens the kneading time).
Add the sugar and salt and knead until you get a smooth dough.
Proof until double.
Optional step: cold retard overnight to develop a deeper flavor.
Divide into 8 portions and roll into balls.
Flatten dough balls and fry in a pan with some oil.
